Sports Medical Centre Maaspoort
We completely gutted this old physiotherapy practice and rebuilt it with a new, optimised layout. As there was little natural light entering the building, we installed a large window front in the façade facing the central hall. We also fitted the partition walls largely with glass, incorporating large skylights in the plastered walls. This ensures that natural light is maximised. The new layout results in a pleasant reception area and larger treatment rooms.
On the first floor, where the gym has been created, we have also removed the now redundant changing rooms and showers, thereby significantly enlarging the gym. The suspended ceiling has been removed to create extra headroom, and as the ceiling has been spray-painted black, it now has an industrial look. The logo, signage and quotes on the wall give the whole space a fresh vibe that appeals to the target audience.
”My new physiotherapy practice was handed over in a warm and homely atmosphere! Thanks to the ‘construction schedule’, I was kept well informed. It was also great that they helped me explore the best options.
