Penthouse in Amsterdam North

IMPRESSION

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

For the realisation of this exclusive penthouse, we managed the entire fit-out process from the handover of the shell right through to the handover of the keys. Based on an interior design by Studio Boud and in close collaboration with the client, all requirements were translated into a high-quality and technically well-thought-out end result, with a focus on quality, attention to detail and bespoke craftsmanship.

During the construction phase, various structural alterations were carried out. For example, the studio was enlarged and fitted with its own bathroom, a freestanding bath was integrated into the master bedroom, and several passageways were widened and raised. These were finished with bespoke glass pivot doors, further enhancing the sense of space within the penthouse. The ceiling has been lowered and fitted with recessed spotlights, lighting rails and curtain rails.

The interior has been designed in a modern Japandi and minimalist style, characterised by a calm aesthetic featuring light colours, natural materials and refined textures. The use of earth tones, wood, a cast floor in a warm clay colour and natural fabrics such as cotton and wool has created a harmonious whole. Black accents, smoked glass and ribbed glass lend a contemporary and luxurious feel. Complemented by acoustic solutions and a home automation system fully tailored to the client’s requirements, the level of living comfort is also optimal.

This project was published in the interior design magazine The Art of Living.

”If you’re looking for high-quality design, good communication and an excellent finish, you’ve come to the right place. Bespoke work, unique furniture and even home automation are taken care of down to the last detail, from design right through to handover. I’m really pleased with how the collaboration went and I’ll definitely be in touch again for my next project!
